Providing quality, cutting edge medical care is our goal. In our center we strive to offer a complete range of services while giving our patients the time, courtesy, and standard of care they deserve. Below is a description of the various costs of our consultation and services. Given the range of things we offer there are variations of a theme. What there is not, are hidden costs. Please discuss with our healthcare professionals and assistants the detailed financial aspects of your proposed evaluation and treatment so we can help to optimize your budget.
Professional Fees:
The fee for the biomarker testing, body composition analysis, Reveal skin imaging, the 30 page personalized biomarker report, and the initial consultations with Dr. Macaulay and Dr. Frank is $2,500 ($3,000 if 'telomerage' DNA Telomere length test is performed-optional). The cost of the initial workup cannot be broken up into parts as it is essential to get a complete, composite picture of your body in order to determine any level of treatment.
For Patients prescribed Hormone Replacement Therapy-
Monthly Program Maintenance Fees are $100 for basic HRT (hormone replacement therapy), $120 for HCG therapy or $140 for HGH therapy. This does not include the cost of medication.
The monthly Program Maintenance Fee is your physician's professional fee for ongoing treatment:
This fee applies to every 28-day period as long as your physician is responsible for monitoring blood levels, managing your treatment program and treating symptoms.
Program Maintenance Fees cover the following:
- Follow-up consultations, e-mails, telephone calls, physical exams, analysis and review of laboratory tests. (You will consult with your physician 2-4 times in the first year.
- Ongoing and repeat Diagnostic Testing to follow progress
- Complimentary blood draws in our office
Treatment (HRT): Medications will be shipped to your door every 28 days from MedQuest Pharmacy. Depending on your program, the cost of treatment ranges from $82 to $1100 per month (this is a separate cost from office maintenance fees and can be detailed upon your request)
Lab tests: Most tests (except immunoage and telomerage tests) are covered by health insurance but depend greatly on individual policies. Our office will help you with coverage. Rates may be higher for tests performed at Labcorp.
Initial lab tests cost approximately $1,100. Follow-up lab tests range from $350 (males) to $560 (females).
New patients on hormone replacement therapy will typically need 2-3 follow-up lab tests in the first year.
Does your office accept health insurance?
Our office does not accept insurance for payment. An insurance waiver must be signed prior to testing. Given the extensive biomarker testing, the detailed consultations and the nature of our treatment regimens, it is not likely that insurance plans would recognize our program nor would we be able to offer the level of care necessary if they did.
Will my insurance cover the cost of prescriptions?
Most insurance companies do not cover the cost of compounded medications. For this reason, our pharmacy partner does not accept insurance for direct payment.
